Alan grew up in Jacksonville, attending Andrew Jackson High school. He attended the Northeast Florida Electrical Apprentice Program. He is now the Secretary for the North Florida Inspectors Association and is on the Board of Directors at the Duval County/Jacksonville Master Electrians Association.
